Fill your head with good thoughts and good things will show up in your life.
This is a TRUE statement.
So, if you want good things to happen to you, you need to think them first. Visualize. Read them. Make them a mantra. Sing them. See how you want to be. Write them out. Make a movie of them in your mind or on a computer. Feel the energy of that happy place when you wake and stay with it most of day or for the entire day.
The one hard truth I know and have experienced is that thinking negatively will make you feel negative and you will attract negative things into your life.
We are product of our own thinking. You might not realize that negative thinking is creating your current reality. And this “negative thinking” leads us all to depression if it stays around too long. Depression sets in when your body feels sad and heavy for too extended of a time. It’s trying to save you by numbing out the fear that is behind the negative thinking, it’s instinctual.
So don’t think that you are sad or negative simply because you are depressed, it’s the other way around. Move past your current sadness by doing things that are healing and in the self-care realm. Simply not giving a poop is not an option. Get out of your head. Push past it as much as you can.
I have been described as “depressed” before and was on anti-depressants for many (think more than 10) years. I can speak to the help of those for a bridge-gap period until you stabilize but they should not be a replacement for operating in your life for the longer term.
You need to take health steps on many fronts in order to heal yourself. It is a road less travelled but it is one with the most rewarding path. I promise you.
If you need advice or a referral for yoga, health, acupuncture, physical therapist, reiki, massage, personal training and more, I have SO many people ready to help you! I also have a ton of book options and other kinds of advice.
I want to also say that IT IS OK TO BE SAD, TOO!! (next posting is about that topic! cry it out people!!!)
